Renovation work will be underway shortly on the former Barcalo Manufacturing Complex located on Louisiana Street in the City of Buffalo, NY. Between 1896 and 1917, eight buildings were constructed as part of the Barcalo Complex and featured products that included metal furniture, mattresses, box springs, hand tools, parts for Ford cars, and airplane plates. The new Barcalo Lofts Buffalo, a $21M mixed-use complex will include 85 apartments, 10,000 SF of commercial space, and 50,000 SF of light manufacturing. CMC has been retained by the construction lender to perform an upfront plan review and cost analysis, as well as ongoing site inspections and construction progress monitoring services.
